George Perez (* 9. Juni 1954, New York City, USA) 
Autor, Zeichner und Tuscher
Bereits im Jahr 1973 begann die Comic-Laufbahn des Zeichners und Tuschers. An der Seite von Rich Buckler war er an der Zweitstory aus dem Comic Astonishing Tales 25 als Assistent tätig. Ein Jahr später folgten seine ersten Solo-Projekte. Im Schwarz-Weiß-Magazin Deadly Hands of Kung-Fu und bei Man-Wolf in Creatures on the Loose. Diese Arbeiten überzeugten so sehr, dass man ihn zum Zeichner der Fantastic Four, Inhumans und Avengers machte.
Zu seinen bekanntesten Werken zählt die in den 80er Jahren erschienene Serie New Teen Titans (1. Serie) (siehe Cover rechts). Dies war übrigens die erste Comic-Serie überhaupt, für die die Künstler Prämien erhielten. Des weiteren hat er sich mit der Serie Crisis on Infinite Earths selbst ein Denkmal gesetzt.
