- In dieser Story sind der Chefredakteur des Daily Star, George Taylor, sowie die Stadt Metropolis erstmals mit Namen genannt (22. Storyseite, fünftes Panel): Man sieht ein an Taylor adressiertes Telegramm mit Anschrift. Metropolis liegt der Anschrift zufolge im Staat New York.
- Die Story war ursprünglich als Comicstrip-Serie in Tageszeitungen in Schwarzweiß erschienen.
